Chic Simple Holiday Inspo
I haven’t decorated for Christmas just yet (except my new flocked tree I recently shared), although it’s coming very soon! Today however, I wanted to share some Chic Simple Holiday Inspo from recent years past.
We were crazy busy last year so I barely shared on social media and I didn’t share on the blog at all but this year, I wanted to share a few looks from last year (and years past) that I’ll be using as Holiday Inspo again this year once I start my holiday decorating! Thanks for stopping by!
This post was sponsored by Wayfair, a brand I love; however, all images, ideas, wording and product selections are my own. Affiliate links included. Please read my full disclosure policy here.
One of my favorite new things last year were these darling Norfolk Pine Trees on either side of the front door. They are available in 2′, 3′, & 4′ heights. Mine are 2′ & 3′ tall. I also love using them in these great planter pots that I have in charcoal, gray and white.
And of course my trees go well with the Norfolk Pine garland around my door. I used 6, layering 2 above the door and wrapping two on each side of my front door. My outdoor sconces are from Wayfair and I love the oversized look and just how great they pop against the house! We have 9 of them around the outside of our cottage, and the garage.
I really love using the Norfolk Pine garland on the mantle as well! It drapes so easy and is so simple to manipulate into shape. Add some bell garland and brass candle sticks and you have a chic, simple holiday look! I also added some twinkle lights to mine.
I also love my Norfolk Pine wreath. It’s simple but just looks great all on its own in my previous kitchen. The one I linked from Wayfair has LED lights though which is even better than mine.
Love this arrangement too with evergreen holiday stems/sprays that I used to create this festive look on my kitchen island. I used another one of my favorite gray textured vases here as well!
And these are my favorite holiday stems – Norfolk Pine Stems! These are so festive and I especially love adding the pinecone stems to them for a simple, fabulous holiday centerpiece. I used them in one of my favorite gray textured vases as well from Wayfair. I have quite a few in this vase, I think about 10-12. They come in a set of 4.
I also love these shorter Norfolk Pine Branches which come with pinecones in a set of 12 stems. I used these in my gray ribbed vase that I absolutely love on my coffee table and/or around my home each holiday season!
Another faux stem I love using around the holidays are magnolia stems. I mixed mine with faux evergreen stems for a chic holiday look here!
Last year I made a swag for my entryway mirror using a mixed spray of pine branches and juniper, and some chocolate brown ribbon to finish it off. Did you know Wayfair has tons of Christmas decor to decorate in any style for the holidays at up to 70% off during the Black Friday Sneak Peek? I love their selection and the fast free shipping I always get too!
The Christmas tree in our cottage living room last year was simple but elegant with lots of brown, gold and rust colored ball ornaments. I topped it off with a star topper and some gold bead strands. I think the brown ball ornament trend is here to stay for a while and I’m here for it!
I hope you enjoyed this tour of Christmas past and were able to get some Chic Simple Holiday Inspo to help with your holiday decorating this season! Stay tuned for late November where I’ll be sharing this year’s Christmas decor, and happy holiday decorating!
