Chic Pink, Black, & Gold Valentine’s Brunch Tablescape
Hi friends and thanks for stopping back by for a little more Valentine’s entertaining inspiration for the upcoming holiday! If you missed my 1st Valentine’s post last week for the Styled + Set Holiday Entertaining Tour, you can catch that HERE. You can also see my Valentine’s Table from last year HERE that included a fun DIY placemat. This time around I wanted to do something a little different (and a little more fun) by doing a chic pink, black & gold Valentine’s brunch table scape. We do brunch often around our home and holidays are certainly no exception, and probably more like the rule! There is nothing more relaxing and fun than sleeping in and cooking up a late breakfast on a day off whether it be the weekend or a holiday.
To start my table I chose to use this gorgeous white and gold rimmed dinnerware from the littlewhitedish.com. They are a little more on the petite side which is great for a brunch setting but it features a gorgeous gold band that brings a lot of interest to my table. I also love how they are slightly dimpled which brings a little personality to my tablescape as well. You can find them HERE.
To bring in the pink and black I chose to use my black and white fringed placemats that I also used for my Christmas tablescape seen HERE. I love it when one home decor item can give you many different looks and these do it effortlessly. I love the fringe and the gold that runs throughout the fabric. I also found these darling pink heart shaped bowls (similar here) at HomeGoods that would be great for anything from oatmeal to cereal to soup and more!
I used my gold flatware and napkin rings…a staple around here that never goes out of style. I purchased these early last year and don’t think I’ll ever tire of them!
And of course you can’t do something Valentinesy without something sweet and some pretty flowers, right!? In full disclosure I don’t typically bake but, these cookies stole my heart for this occasion (no pun intended here;) and I couldn’t resist picking them up when I saw them. And the flowers were a curve ball in my design too but I like the way they turned out. Just simple deep pink roses (that also stole my heart at the floral department) and some greenery in a simple clear and gold vase (similar here) that plays into my color scheme here.
The heart plates (similar here) were also a HomeGoods find along with the heart bowls.
For glasses I used these simple understated crystal glasses that I love (similar here & here) and that compliment the rest of the table nicely.
I also used my buffalo check pillows that I used around Christmas time that I still love in here. They of course go so well with my new faux roman shade over the sink that I shared all about a couple of weeks ago in a post all about how to design a faux roman shade and how and when to use them. You can find that HERE.
Thanks again for stopping in and I hope you have the best Valentines’ Day celebration yet this year with the special people in your life and remember … Let all that you do be done in love (1 Cor 16:14). Please also feel free to leave any comments or questions below in the comments section!
